The 99th edition of the race saw Reuben Kerio win for the third time after previous wins in 2017 and 2021 and his 2:07:16 was only 15 seconds outside the 10-year-old course record though Ethiopians Aychew Bantie and Yohans Mekasha were only three seconds back.

Margaret Agai took 31 seconds off the womens course record with 2:24:04.
